Round 1
1	Tampa Bay	Jamies Winston	QB	Florida State
The Buc’s need a QB badly. They have done extensive investigations on both options. Winston seems to grade best in pro style offense, but comes with huge off field issues. The Glanser family will trust Lovie and the coaches to keep in line with the increased emphasis on off field issues. They are betting their reputation with Jamies. In the end, football talent trumps character issues.
2	Tennessee	Marcus Mariota	QB	Oregon
The draft turns on this pick. Will there be a trade offer that makes the Titans move? Mettenberger seems to have won the hearts of the management and coaches, but they select Marriota. Leonard Williams will be an option, but Mariota has been deemed too good to pass on.
3	Jacksonville	Dante Fowler	OLB	Florida
The trade offers will continue at this pick with Mariota off the board. Gus Bradley will get the pick for his defense. Fowler will strenghten a defense that needs to put more pressure on the qbs.
4	Oakland	Leonard Williams	DT	USC
The Raiders needs weapons all over the field and choose to work on the D-line. Williams is the top player on their board and the jump to bring this playmaker on board. He will be alllowed to move around on the line, giving offensive coordinators nightmares preparing for the rush with Mack bringing it as well.
5	Washington	Vic Beasley	OLB	Clemson
In this scenario, Washington will stay put and choose a defensive option. Their most glaring need is for a pass rusher. Beasley is considered one of the most dangerous edge rusher in this draft with an explosive first step. He demonstrates a variety of moves with great closing speed.
6	NY Jets	Kevin White	WR	West Virginia
The Jets look at trade offers but stay put and take White. The new management team wants a number one receiver to team with Decker. White will be able to stretch the field while giving Geno Smith a true red zone target.
7	Chicago	Amari Cooper	WR	Alabama
The Bears think about Danny Shelton, but opt for the number one receive on their board. Cooper is the most polished route runner in the draft and more than off sets the trade of Brandon Marshall to the Jets. Amari will be the number one receive from the day he hits camp with the Bears.
8	Atlanta	Shane Ray	DE	Missouri
The Falcon’s need a pass rusher to improve their defense. They scan their board and decide that Ray is their best option. Shane’s production in the SEC was excellent and he should give them the edge rusher that they have been missing for the last couple of years.
9	NY Giants	Brandon Scherff	OT	Iowa
The Giants decide to upgrade the LOT position to try and keep Eli upright this year. Scherff is the best option in the draft to play LOT. He can plug into the line and be a big upgrade over last year. He has quick feet, bends at the knees and has the speed to hold off fast DE’s.
10	St. Louis	Andrus Peat	OT	Stanford
The Rams need help at right tackle and across the whole o-line. They choose to continue to reach a little and take Peat. Andrus is a tough blocker with the frame to become a top ROT. His aggressiveness and strenght make him an impressive run blocker.
11	Minnesota	Trae Waynes	CB	Michigan State
I think that the Vikings will trade out of this spot, but if they can not find an acceptable offer, they select Waynes. Zimmer is building a top five defense and needs improved CB play. With Rhodes on one side and Waynes on the other, teams press coverage on both sides. Waynes is fast and long and should earn time on the field early in his career.
12	Cleveland	Davante Parker	WR	Louisville
The Browns are thrilled that the Viks passed on Parker and rush their card to the stage. Parker gives them a tall, fast receiver to help reduce the sting of Gordon’s year long suspension. Parker will start immediately and give who ever is qb a consistent red zone threat.
13	New Orleans	Randy Gregory	DE	Nebraska
The Saints decide that Gregory’s talent is too great to pass. He fills their need for an outside linebacker and should start from day one. Rob Ryan’s defense needs to add an edge rusher the take pressure off the back end of the Saints defense.
14	Miami	Danny Shelton	DT	Washington
The Dolphins look at their board and see too much value in Shelton to pass. He will make the interior of their D-line a monster to face. Placing him beside Suh will give and incredible push up the middle and make running inside nearly impossible.
15	San Francisco	Malcolm Brown	DT	Texas
The 49ers are in a bind here. They need receivers and inside lbs but none on the board are worth this spot in the draft. They opt to work on the D-line taking DT Brown from Texas. He will slide into the 5 technique and give them an excellent push. He will clean up the trash to give the linebackers room to make plays.
16	Houston	Jaelen Strong	WR	Arizona State
The Texans need a replacement for Johnson and find one in Jaelen Strong. He is a long fast strong receiver with excellent hands. Last year he had 82 catches for almost 1200 yards with 10 tds. He is a red zone threat that goes up and snatches the ball. He needs work on sharpening his routes, but will be great addition to their offense.
17	San Diego	Todd Gurley	RB	Georgia
The Bolts decide that there is just too much talent in Gurley’s skill set to pass on him. The medical tests show that his acl has healed and Todd will be ready for OTA’s. With the noise about leaving San Diego, the management needs a new face of the fanchise to give fans a positive feel for this season.
18	Kansas City	Ereck Flowers	OT	Miami
The Chiefs need a wr most but none are a value pick at this point in the draft so Flowers is the pick. He projects best to R-tackle but can play L-tackle if needed. He will need help with speed rushers early but should be a fixture on the oline for the next ten years.
19	Cleveland (from BUF)	Alvin Dupree	DE	Kentucky
The Browns have a need at DE and Dupree is their highest rated one left on the board. He brings good skill set with speed, strength and athleticism. He is big enough to set the edge and is very disruptive to offenses. He will need to work on his pass rush skills, but is worth the investment at this point in the draft.
20	Philadelphia	Kevin Johnson	CB	Wake Forest
The Eagles need a cb and get the top cb on the board. Johnson is a tall, strong athletic corner. He can cover the best as he did an excellent job during the 2014 season. Kevin had 43 tackles, 6 passes defensed and one interception on the year. He fits well in the the current defensive approach and should see the field early.
21	Cincinnati	Lael Collins	OT	LSU
The Bengals are concerned about the decreased production from aging OT Whitworth last year and will get some depth to help at OT with Collins. He has the size, quickness and strength to make him a force anywhere on the the line. He did not allow either Fowler or Dupree to get a sack on him this past year. The Bengels will expect similar production from him at the next level.
22	Pittsburgh	Marcus Peters	CB	Washington
Peters is the type of player that the Steelers like at cb. He has great strength with adequate length, while exhibiting the body control to be a press corner. He has good hips and the height to quickly find the ball. Collins gives the Steelers an option that should strengthen their coverage.
23	Detroit	Eddie Goldman	DT	Florida State
The Lions did not sign either Suh and Fairley to new contracts leaving a huge hole to fill at DT. Goldman is the best player on their board. He will look good next to Ngata, with his quickness and toughness. Goldman played at a high level all year with a good pass rush. He will provide the same in the Lions rotating D-line.
24	Arizona	Melvin Gordon	RB	Wisconsin
The Cardinals decide to pull the trigger on a running back. The Cards wanted one of the top two backs and with Gurley off the board, they needed to move on Gordon. Melvin was great for the Badgers last year. He averaged 7.5 yards per carry in 2014 for 2,587 yards with 29 touchdowns. Gordon caught three passes for 153 yards and three touchdowns too.
25	Carolina	TJ Clemmings	OT	Pittsburgh
The Panthers need protection for Cam. They get a 6’4″ 309 lb man in Flowers. He has a very high ceiling and will need strong coaching on his technique. To this point he has won with mass and agressiveness. His quickness and balance allow him to get to the second level on run blocks, but is a work in progress in pass protection.
26	Baltimore	Breshad Perriman	WR	UCF
The Ravens add a quick long strider to their wide out group. He has a burst and quick acceleration. He had an outstanding pro day which valuted him up many teams boards. Perriman has good blood lines and his dad was a solid pro. The Ravens expect him on the field early in the year in the slot if not on the outside.
27	Dallas	Jalen Collins	CB	LSU
The Cowboy’s get a tall fast cb in Collins. His speed and length allow him to excel at running with receivers down field and win the jump balls as well. He has fluid hips and can turn and run well. He will attack running backs out of backfield with agressiveness and good tackling technique. Collins Should compete for playing time from the opening of camp.
28	Denver	DJ Humphries	OT	Florida
The Broncos get a player that has the ideal make-up for left OT. Humphries was fast, fluid and athletic at the Combine, while showing up at a good weight. He played well for Florida in 2014 and was impressive in pass protection. He needs to continue to add strength to go with his quickness and nasty streak. He has the skill set to become a starting left tackle in the league and the Broncos need him to set up early.
29	Indianapolis	Jake Fisher	OT	Oregon
The Colts get a OT for a struggling o-line. Fisher is a three year starter for the Ducks that excelled at pass blocking in their scheme. He is able to latch onto defenders using his long arms and stone hands. He has exhibited great versatility starting at both tackle spots. His good knee bend allows him to anchor his blocks and he has the skills of an effective double team blocker, releasing the first to get the second rusher. He will be a solid addition.
30	Green Bay	Eric Kendricks	ILB	UCLA
The Packer’s choose to address their inside backer problems. Having released both of last years starters they need to select several if they are going to be able to move Matthews back outside where he helps the defense the most. Kendricks is an explosive hitter that is aggressive to the ball. He is light on his feet as is and an effective pass rusher, which is improtant in the pass happy league.
31	New Orleans (from SEA)	Nelson Agholor	WR	USC
The Saints strengthen their offense with the addition of Agholor. He has terrific athleticism with fluidity to shift his weight as he breaks the route with quick reflexes to find the ball. He has the best route running in the draft and great acceleration off the line of scrimmage. He had over 100 receptions last year and should give Brees a new toy in the offense.
32	New England	Owamagbe Odighizuwa	DE	UCLA
The Patriots choose to work on their d-line with Odighizuwa. He has the long arms, burst and power to consistently beat tackles. He was a very disruptive force from right end for the Bruins and, with solid coaching, should provide the same in the NFL.
Round 2
33	Tennessee	Landon Collins	SS	Alabama
The Titans get the top safety in the draft. Collins had over 100 tackles, 6 pass breakups and 4 interceptions during 2014. He is a strong safety that needs to play in the box to be at his best. He needs to improve his cover skills to reach his full potential in the league.
34	Tampa Bay	Denzel Perryman	ILB	Miami
Perryman looks the part of an inside backer; thick and muscular with an excellent burst to the ball. He is a little short, but makes up for it with quickness and instincts in pass defense. An excellent tackler, the Bucs will expect Denzel to impact their linebacker corps early.
35	Oakland	Bryon Jones	CB	Connecticut
Jones lit up the combine with a world record 12-foot-3-inch standing broad jump. Jones quite literally leaped onto the NFL radar. Jones, who also showed great agility in shuttle drills, has the length, speed and skills to be a press cover corner.
36	Jacksonville	Eli Harold	OLB	Virginia
Harold was very impressive in 2014. He totaled 54 tackles with 14.5 tackles for a loss, seven sacks, two passes batted, one interception and a forced fumble. The junior had strong showings against UCLA, Louisville and North Carolina. Harold is fast and athletic on the edge. He needs to add weight to remain in a 4-3 defense in the NFL. Harold worked out well at the Combine, but needs to get bigger.
37	NY Jets	Shaq Thompson	LB	Washington
The Jets get a playmaker in Thompson. They will be able to move him around at lb and safety to give them flexibility in their schemes. Offenses will need to plan for Shaq being all over the field.
38	Washington	Danielle Hunter	DE	LSU
The Redskins take the best pass rusher on their board. With Beasley already on board, the addition of Danielle will help the secondary play better. Hunter has excellent speed, length and width for the position with lots of room to add muscle. He needs to work on his first step, but shows excellent strength at the point of attack and will sacrifice his body to blow up the run.
39	Chicago	Jordan Phillips	DT	Oklahoma
Phillips fills the middle of the Bears new 3-4 defense. He will help build the line. He can also play the 5 technique. Phillips is tall and long with a wide base and has very good athletic skills for a man his size.
40	NY Giants	Damarious Randall	FS	Arizona State
The Giants get the safety they need in Randall. Damarious is a ball hawk in the back of the defense. He is aggressive to the ball, with excellent quickness and a hard hitting ability. He does tend not to wrap up on the ball carrier, but this is easily coached up.
41	St. Louis	Cameron Erving	G/C	Florida State
The Rams find great value in a versatile, athletic player with length, speed, size and quick feet. He has played tackle and center, but they believe he can slide into the left guard spot. He is smooth and fast with his pulling ability and should step right in as a starter.
42	Atlanta	Maxx Williams	TE	Minnesota
Atlanta continues to find a tight end. Williams should fill the bill. He is an excellent value at this point in the draft. Many had him going in the first round before a few issue with his ego came up during combine interview. He has excellent hands with a long reach. He exhibited athletic ability during his time at Minnesota and should contribute to the Falcons offense this year.
43	Cleveland	Bernardrick McKinney	OLB	Mississippi State
The Browns work on their defense by getting a tall fast outside backer. McKinney had 71 tackles last year with 3 sacks and 8 tfl during last year. He is a true three down backer that will work his way in to the rotation quickly.
44	New Orleans	Laken Tomlinson	G	Duke
The Saints work on their o-line with their best guard on the board. A three time first team ACC guard, he has started 52 games for Duke. He has massive body with the strength to take on D-Tackles and hold them off. Physically and mentally tough, with a high football IQ, he is able to handle the twists and turns on the line. He should challenge for playing time this year.
45	Minnesota	Arik Armstead	DE	Oregon
Zimmer and the Viks tried to get Mike Johnson to sign after he was cut by the Bucs. Now they find a clone to become the edge setter in their defense in Armstead. He will be asked to play a similar system to what he did in Oregon, control the edge run and let the pass rush come second.
46	San Francisco	Ronald Darby	CB	Florida State
The 49ers get a good-sized athlete with the frame and length to match up well with bigger targets. He does a nice job using his eyes to track and aggressively make plays with the ball skills to finish. Darby had 43 tackles and four passes defensed during the past year. He is also an excellent special teams player, which adds to his value.
47	Miami	AJ Cann	G	South Carolina
The Dolphins work on their o-line with their highest rated guard. Cann has had 51 starts for the Gamecocks. He is a natural bender with the strength to move people off the line. He is a strong finisher with the power to bury his man. Cann has only played left guard and could be a fixture there for many years.
48	San Diego	Donovan Smith	OT	Penn State
The Chargers took the running back in the first round and now work on their O -line. Smith is the highest rated lineman on their board. He is a massive man that will be counted on to move in at right tackle. This will allow the Chargerst to move Flucker to guard, giving Rivers improved protection.
49	Kansas City	Devin Smith	WR	Ohio State
The Chiefs want lighting in a bottle to add a wide out that can get open deep. Smith averaged over 27.2 yards per catch. He has the quickness to break away for the CB with the moves to get down the field. He will also bring excellent special team skills to the Chiefs.
50	Buffalo	Tre Jackson	G	Florida State
The Bills work on their o-line with this pick. Jackson brings nasty power to the interior of their line. He has a good burst to get through the line and seal lbs, opening holes for rbs. He can play either side of the line and will give the Bills options as the new staff develops their line.
51	Houston	Stephone Anthony	ILB	Clemson
The Texans find a replacement for Brian Cushing. Anthony will move into his inside spot and provide the tackles-for-loss that were common with Cushing before his injuries. Anthony had 69 tackles, 10.5 for a loss, 4 passes defensed, one interception and two forced fumbles in 2014.
52	Philadelphia	Nate Orchard	OLB	Utah
The Eagles add their new right side lb in Nate Orchard. Although he played DE, he lined up as a line backer quite a bit last year. Orchard had 18.5 sacks and 38+ tackles for a loss during his career. He displays excellent quickness and strength with above average football IQ. He is a leader, proudly wearing the “C” for the Utes this year.
53	Cincinnati	Quinten Rollins	CB	Miami (OH)
The Bengals get a raw cb with extreme upside. He had 72 tackles and 7 interceptions this past year. He was named the defensive player of the year in the MAC. Rollins has only played one year of college football after starting four years on the basketball team. He has a very high ceiling with outstanding physical and mental skills for the position.
54	Detroit	Ameer Abdullah	RB	Nebraska
The Lions move to shore up their rb spot after the release of Reggie Bush. Abdullah had a great 2014. He became the first FBS RB with 1600 + yards rushing and 500+ yards receiving. He will give them a change of pace from the banging of J. Bell with much better receiver skills.
55	Arizona	Lorenzo Mauldin	OLB	Louisville
Lorenzo gives the Cardinals the outside rush that they need. He racked up 51 tackles with 13 tackles for a loss, 6.5 sacks, three passes broken up and a forced fumble in 2014. Mauldin is quick off the edge with some nice pass-rushing technique.
56	Pittsburgh	Cody Prewitt	FS	Mississippi State
The Steelers are looking for a replacement for Polomalu. Prewitt will slide in at FS, allowing Mitchell to move to SS. A muscular athlete with a substantial frame and long arms (33 inches), Prewitt has consistent playing speed and quick acceleration too. He is a sound tackler with a nose for the ball (12 career interceptions).
57	Carolina	Sammie Coates	WR	Auburn
Coates brings the Panthers a blend of speed, quickness and strength. He combines 4.4 speed with a strong body, allowing him to break through cb/safety coverage. He has ability to track the ball over his shoulder as good as anyone in this draft. He is an excellent blocker and will be very effective in the running game.
58	Baltimore	Duke Johnson	RB	Miami
Johnson brings a combination of quick feet, acceleration and strength to the backfield. He averaged 7.4 yards every time he touched the ball last year. He has excellent hands out of the backfield and is an effective blocker. Johnson also has shown the ability to split out wide, expanding playbooks.
59	Denver	Clive Walford	TE	Miami
The Broncos get a young TE to give Peyton more targets. Walford brings impressive excelleration off the line putting pressure on defenses up the seam. He catches the ball over his shoulder and wins most jump balls in the red zone. He will need to work on his blocking but has excellent speed for his size.
60	Dallas	Mario Edwards Jr.	DE	Florida State
The Cowboys work on getting better on the d-line. Edwards has an impressive set of skills and athletic ability. He uses his long arms and strength to keep clean at the line. He can set set the edge as well as be a bull rusher getting to the qb. He has good balance to recover when tossed off course.
61	Indianapolis	Tevin Coleman	RB	Indiana
The Colts get a running back that is being compared to DeMarco Murray. Coleman runs with a physical temperament and good body strength, lowering his pads to plow into defenders at the line of scrimmage and run through arm tackles. He loves contact with his aggressive running style and has the toughness to finish carries.
62	Green Bay	Carl Davis	DT	Iowa
The Pack needs help on the d-line. With the loss of Guion due to legal issues, they opt for Davis. He is a strong, athletic tackle. He brings a combination size, strength and technique to the team. He can play the 5 technique, spliting double teams and putting pressure on the pocket.
63	Seattle	Michael Bennett	DT	Ohio State
The Seahawks get a very active tackle with range, quickness and focus. He attacks the pocket with a high level of aggression. He has a non-stop motor. Bennett has improved backfield vision with the controlled footwork and change of direction skills that is uncommon for the position.
64	New England	Dorial Green-Beckham	WR	Missouri
The Patriots get an exciting receiver prospect that can stretch the field for Tom Brady. He has not had an option like Dorial since Randy Moss left the team. There are character risks with Green-Beckham, but the Patriots management will be able to keep him in line.
