6 South Dakota State Logo South Dakota State SDSU (3-1) win an overtime shootout against Indiana State, a week after nearly beating NDSU? Youngstown comes to town next. 4
7 Wofford Logo Wofford Wofford (4-1) took care of Chattanooga, in a worman-like performance. Last of four straight road games at Furman next week. 9
8 McNeese Logo McNeese State McNeese (5-1) continues to win. But a close win against ACU is not reassuring. The defense has been stout though. Off next week. 7
9 Jacksonville State Logo Jacksonville State JSU (4-1) continues to flex its muscle against the OVC. It’s really not fair. Eastern Illinois is next. 11

11 UC Davis Logo UC Davis UCD (4-1) threw the ball all over NoCo before the Bears made a crazy late charge. They’ll host a surging Idaho State next week. 13
12 Colgate FCS Football Top 25 Colgate The ‘Gate (5-0) closed the door on Bucknell. Cornell visits next in what might be another drubbing. 16
13 Nicholls Logo Nicholls Nicholls (4-2) beat NW State. Not as impressive as other wins, but still comfortable. Travel to Abilene Christian this week. 15
14 Rhode Island Logo Rhode Island URI (4-1) thumped Ivy neighbor Brown, 48-0. Huge home game with Maine next week. 20
15 Sam Houston State Logo Sam Houston State SHSU (3-2) smashed SFA by 33. Maybe the QB change did the trick. They’ll go to Northwestern State next. 17
16 Weber State Logo Weber State Was WSU (3-2) looking ahead to EWU like we asked last week? NAU gave them no mercy, giving them their first conference loss. 10
17 Maine Logo Maine Maine (3-2) put themselves in a better spot by beating Villanova. Can improve that even more in Rhode Island. 18
