Overview:
Ty Hensley is a big, powerful, right handed hurler. His fastball is in the low 90’s but touches 94 at times. Of course, with his big 6’5 frame, velocity will likely increase as he matures. In addition to his powerful fastball, he offers a quality curve and a developing changeup. These three pitches are a dangerous combination and he can strike out batters with ease.
Final Projection:
With his big frame and hard fastball, Hensley is a no brainer first round selection. His breaking stuff is not as good as some, but with his high ceiling he should be taken late in the first round.
