Florida | Florida took two of three from Cal State Fullerton over the opening weekend and remain the team to beat. | 1 |

South Carolina | South Carolina swept VMI without too much trouble. Elon should not give the Gamecocks much trouble either. | 2 |

Texas | Texas looked pretty good against Duke, but we will learn a lot more about the Longhorns against Stanford. | 3 |

North Carolina | The Tar Heels are not starting out the season with too many tough games, so they should pile on some wins. | 4 |

Arizona State | Arizona State’s bats were popping right out of the gate. The Sun Devils scored 40 runs in three games against WMU. | 5 |
