Alabama | Alabama could get a nice test against Florida. We should at least learn more about the Crimson Tide. | 1 |

Florida State | Florida State enjoyed a week off before their big test against Clemson. It should be the only game preventing 6-0. | 2 |

Oregon | In typical Ducks fashion, they were losing 7-0 to Wyoming after one quarter, but won 48-14. | 3 |

Auburn | Auburn has a very interesting Thursday night game against a Kansas State squad with something to prove. | 4 |

LSU | LSU recorded their second shutout in a row, this time coming against Louisiana-Monroe. | 5 |

Oklahoma | Not surprisingly, Oklahoma survived against Tennessee. This week they travel to a WVU squad that is riding high. | 6 |

UCLA | Once again UCLA did not look very good, but still came away with a win. Beating Texas in Texas is not all bad though. | 7 |

Baylor | The Bears absolutely crushed Buffalo on Friday night. They stay on the road after a week off and face Iowa State. | 9 |

Stanford | Stanford shut down Army. They get a week off before getting back into Pac-12 play with a road game at UW. | 12 |

Georgia | Georgia could have kept creeping up the rankings had they beat South Carolina. They should win their next three. | 11 |

Ohio State | J.T. Barrett threw six touchdown passes as Ohio State finally looked like Ohio State and beat Kent State 66-0. | 14 |

Notre Dame | It was a lot closer than it should have been, but Notre Dame did get past Purdue 30-14. | 17 |

South Carolina | The Gamecocks are back on track with a nice win over Georgia. Their first road trip of the season is at Vandy. | 19 |

Washington | The Huskies finally beat somebody without sweating it out in the end. They handled Illinois 44-19. | 24 |
